WHO ARE WE
Gateway2Housing provides accommodation and support to individuals living in our properties, primarily in supported accommodation or SSH (Specialised Supported Housing) scenarios. We are investing in societies to prevent homelessness and promote independence by offering housing, benefit & tenancy support services. We provide a mix of shared & self contained specialist accommodation to individuals from variety of backgrounds. We provide tenancy related support to the tenants living in our properties. We also provide specialized supported living (SSH) schemes working in partnership with our CQC regulated care provider, various RSL’s and housing charities.
WHAT WE DO
We provide accommodation and support services for vulnerable adults and families at risk of homelessness and specialized supported housing (SSH) schemes to individuals requiring additional housing support.
- High quality housing options across Birmingham and surrounding areas in midlands
- Holistic housing services that help tenants manage their tenancy
- Pathways into employment for vulnerable adults, via training and career advice
- Meeting housing and support needs of specific tenant groups, for example, provision of safe refuge with 24 X 7 security for domestic abuse victims and deployment of associated support/resources

WHO WE SERVE
OUR AIM IS TO SERVE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BY PROMOTING THE INDEPENDENCE OF VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS AND PREVENTING HOMELESSNESS AND NEGLIGENCE.
PEOPLE WHO USE OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:
Supported accommodation only (adults only):
- Refugees and asylum-seekers
- Homeless people
- Disabled people
- Individuals with drug or alcohol addictions
- Victims of domestic abuse/violence
- Families in need of temporary accommodation
Housing Tenant Profile for Specialized Supported Housing (SSH) (adults only):
- Adults with learning disabilities or mental health issues
- Autism
- Dual diagnosis (mental health + substance misuse and/or mild learning disability)
- May have complex needs
- May have a forensic history
- May be subject to Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
- May be subject to a Community Treatment Order (CTO)
- May have a history of suicide attempts and/or self harm
- May have chronic well-managed physical health problems
